The Artifact uses teleportation a lot, I never considered this use of teleportation! The article talks about teleporting energy. It's a really interesting thought that would completely change everything. My head is still reeling from the implications!

Now teleportation on The Artifact is not a simple process but that's teleporting matter. Teleporting energy should be much easier. In addition there are the "Quantum Communicators" that are in the game and they're relatively small.

I find it interesting that technology is moving along on the teleportation front. Every step of the way there are physicists that say "OK, you got that to work but that's probably all you'll get". Then someone takes the next step.

All i could think of is star harvesting.

build a sattelite that can handle large amounts of radiation and send in much closer to a star than humans could go, and set it up to dump heat or light or whatever energy collected back to a safe point on earth or where ever.
